Even former employees of JCPenney can access the kiosk for documentation like W-2s and income verification.

Look For Employee ID

A lot of information on the portal requires your employee ID. In many cases, this serves as your username for access to the portal. Knowing your employee ID is important not only for accessing the kiosk, but also for several other tasks.

In case you don’t know your employee ID, you can use this option to find it. The section has a single entry, which is to “Find your Employee ID” for JCPenney. 

Clicking on this will take you to a new screen, which functions as a primary validation. You can continue the process of finding your employee ID by entering the information requested and completing the validation and verification process.

Active Associates

This is perhaps the most important and relevant section of the JCPenney Associates website. This section deals with current employees and their requirements. As such, you’ll also find information relating to most important aspects of the company and the role of associates.

The first section is the most important here and deserves a more detailed look.

Associate Kiosk @ Home

The first option is the “Associate Kiosk @ Home”, or simply, the Associate Kiosk Home. Clicking on this option will take you to a new screen. This webpage is rather simple and looks a bit dated. But its function is straightforward as it is intended for user login.

You’ll find user login options here, requiring a username and password. Unless you’ve set a custom username, this will likely be your Employee ID at JCPenney. The password would be whatever you set initially. Always use a strong password.

Once the login is successful, you’ll have access to several useful tools and options. Some of these are:

  • JTime: The JTime and associated features offer a wealth of information to any current associate at JCPenney. The most used option here is often the schedule. You can use this to view the current schedule, or weekly schedule at work.
    Users can also view the schedule for the date range of their choice or for specific dates.
    Additional options are available at JCPenney JTime to request changes in schedule, request a leave, check paid time off, and mandatory time off options. 
  • Benefits: Employees can use this tool to check their benefits and other available relevant options.
  • Others: Several other aspects of working at JCPenney may also be handled here, including getting paystubs, calendar, and forms to print.

Resetting Your Password

The password reset option is the second choice in the “Active Associates” section. While this provides easy access, the option to reset the password is also available on the login screen. 

Clicking this link will take users to an information document, which has details on changing the password and the link to follow. You will need your employee ID for this, and in case the helpdesk has provided some information, the token number will likely be required as well.

Former Associates

Former Associates at JCPenney can have access to a specific kiosk on the website for up to 18 months after they stopped working at the business. You’ll need to login to access the kiosk for former associates and it’s not the same as the one used for Active Associates.

The username will be your Employee ID used at JCPenney, While the password is a combination of your birth month, year, SSN, and the word “JCP”.
